Statement from Clearstream Wastewater Systems:
Clearstream Wastewater System is locally, four generation family-owned businesses. We have been in business in this community for approximately 50 years. We provide sustainable, innovative product solutions for wastewater treatment.
Today at approximately 3 pm our Silsbee Manufacturing facility caught on fire. Our safety procedures and protocols were implemented and no loss of life, serious injury, or any injuries occurred. We immediately contacted the local fire department and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). From our understanding as of the time of this statement, the fire is under control and generally squashed. We would like to thank all of our first responders for their diligent and prompt response. Further, we are in an industrial area and no shelter in place or evacuation orders were given. The investigation for the cause is still ongoing. We are currently working with local authorities to ensure the fire is completely out, with their investigation, and with the TCEQ to ensure the people and environment are safe.
