History of the organization:
Our current Kirbyville Youth Football Association was founded in 2010 under the direction of Casey Liles, Allen Watson, Michael Loyd, Angela Jacks, and Travis Haines and is a part of the Lonestar Football League. KYFA promotes youth football and cheerleading in Kirbyville. Casey Liles served as KYFA’s first cheer coordinator taking the Junior team to competition beginning her very first year and placing in the top 3. Each year after that, the KYFA cheerleaders participated in the Lonestar competition consistently placing in the top 3.
In 2016 the Flag team made KYFA history by placing first with head coach Wendi Draper and Co-coach Jaci Sackett. Again in 2018, history was made as the Senior team won first place under the direction of Coordinator and Coach Shanna Loyd and Co-Coach Rainey Fowler.
In 2020 Crystal Reynolds took the reigns as KYFA Cheer Coordinator and has continued to take at least one team to the Lonestar Competition, with the exception of 2020 and 2021. In 2022 the Senior team won 2nd place and placed 4th in 2023 coached by Crystal Reynolds and Crystal Urzendowski.
