Updated: KWCC welcomed guest speaker Roy James, founder of Veterans Village

On October 10, 2024 the ladies of the Kirbyville Woman's Civic Club were welcomed by their Vice President , Patti Greer.

Member Diane Smith said, "We had 31 members present, we missed the ladies that couldn’t be with us. The hostesses blew it out of the park. Everything was dead on with the fun theme. The refreshments were so good and so cute. Vice President, Patti Greer, introduced our speaker, Roy A. James of Rule Homeless Network. Mr James is the Founder/Advocate of the organization. You may know this as the Veterans Village. Someone donated 5.1 acres of land to them where they plan to build 10 tiny houses, a pavilion, laundry facilities, and a park. These are much needed homes for our people in need".
