Kirbyville VFD called out to assist Buna VFD in early morning blaze

At 5:50 this morning, Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department was called out to assist Buna VFD near Cougar Country with a woods fire.

KVFD Chief Greg Ellis said,"This was a small fire, but it had the potential to have been dangerous if winds were higher. Just remember, we are under a burn ban so please abstain from outdoor burning. We are in extreme fire danger conditions now."
