Kirbyville HS Student honored for saving the life of another student

Kirbyville High School would like to recognize Sophomore student, TJ Roberts for an extraordinary act of kindness. TJ noticed a student in distress and was able to determine quickly that the student was choking. TJ performed the Heimlich maneuver and cleared the student’s airway in a matter of seconds. Thanks to TJ’s quick thinking and willingness to help, the student is okay. We are extremely proud of TJ, and would like to recognize him for his act of bravery. We plan to honor TJ at the September KCISD school board meeting.
