Kirbyville Hire's New Athletic Director

Kirbyville School Board met tonight to announce their choice for the recently vacated Athletic Director Position. The lone finalist was picked out of several qualified candidates. There was a community advisory board that helped throughout the selection process and provided their recommendation to the school board. KCISD would like to welcome Mr. Seth Hubbard and Family to the Wildcat Family! He takes over the reins of the very successful athletic programs tomorrow morning, where he excited to get to work on continuing the foundation that was laid. Mr. Hubbard's excitement was evident when addressing the mixture of faulty and students in attendance. We had the chance to speak with Mr. Hubbard getting his insight in what the future holds for the Kirbyville Wildcats. When asked how his emotions were, he stated " It's a surreal moment and his dream has come full circle." We also asked how would Kirbyville Athletics flourish under his coming . He got really excited and said, "It's time to get to work and continuing building all programs here in Kirbyville. Every young adult playing athletics across the board will be training in the offseason and preparing themselves to compete every game, every minute." He comes to Kirbyville from Dangerfield, where he spent three seasons as the OC and Assistant AD. Mr. Hubbard has coached at other schools such as Woodville and San Augustine to name a few. Mr. Hubbard is married to Rebecca Hubbard with two children Jaxon Hubbard and Hannah Hubbard. We would like to say Welcome to The Ville Coach Hubbard and family......and It's A Great Day to be A Wildcat!!!
