Kelley named Jasper City Manager
Interim Jasper City Manager Greg Kelley, was named City Manager Tuesday evening during a special called meeting. The decision was made in an executive session.
Kelley was named Interim City Manager following the retirement of Denise Kelly back in January of this year.
Kelley said, "I've been working with the City of Jasper for 34 years and I intend to continue to do good work for our city and its citizens. Jasper is my hometown and I want to make it the best I can."
Kelley added that he worked for three years as a Police Dispatch and Jailer then moved on to Public Works. He said he just wants to continue to move the city forward.
Kelley and his wife Tammy have been married for 19 years and have three daughters Payton 17, Katherin 24, and Salena who is 31. Kelley said that he was born and raised right here in Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School Class of 86.
