Keith A. Goates May 2, 1961 - August 6, 2024

A Celebration of Keith A. Goates’ Life, age 63, of Jasper, Texas, will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas.  

Keith passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

A native of Groves, Texas and longtime resident of the Lake Sam Rayburn area, Keith was a 1979 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School.  He spent over 40 years building custom homes, buildings and businesses.  An Avid outdoorsman, professional fisherman, founding member of the Big Country Bass Club and President of the Piloncillo Ranch Hunting Club. His life revolved around hunting, fishing, searching for arrowheads and cooking for his girls.

Keith is survived by his wife of 24 years, Glenda Goates; daughter, Kennedy Goates; brother, Rusty Goates and wife Nancy; sister, Brenda Duhon and husband Bobby and is also survived by a host of other family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Jackie Goates and his twin brother, Kent Goates.  

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the local blood bank of your choice.
