Kay Davis Haiduk April 4, 1959 - Feb. 7, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kay Davis Haiduk on Wednesday, February 7, 2024  in Beaumont, TX. Kay was born on April 4, 1959 in Galveston, TX. She was a jill of all trades and held several jobs throughout her life, including cashier, secretary, substitute teacher, dispatcher, caretaker, and her very favorite- grandma! In her free time, she enjoyed working in the yard, watching the deer that hung out around her house (we called them her pet deer), and most of all, spoiling her grandkids, whom she loved so very much and bragged about every chance she could. She is survived by her only daughter Amanda Koonce and husband Todd, grandchildren Logan and Noah Koonce, sister Tama Gann, brothers Thomas Davis, Karl Davis and wife Kirsten, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Geoffrey W. Haiduk, parents Atmar W and Golda Humphreys Davis, and brother John Davis. A small gathering will be held for family and close friends at a later time. One in three women suffer from heart disease, and cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer in women.
