Katie Irene Long June 7, 1977 - August 23, 2024

Katie Shaw Long, age 47, of Jasper, Texas passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at CHRISTIS Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Texas.

A native of Orange, Texas and lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Katie was a member of Erin Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, spending time with family, camping, fishing, playing baseball and visiting with friends.

Katie is survived by her husband of twenty years, David Long, Jr. of Jasper, Texas; father-in-law, David Long, Sr. of Jasper, Texas; mother-in-law, Diana Long of Jasper, Texas ;son, Corbin Long of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Aubrey Long of Jasper, Texas and her sisters, Angela Smith and husband Clint of Call, Texas, Kristi Morgan and husband Luke of Jasper, Texas and Jenna Barnes of Jasper, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donny and Freida Shaw.
