Joyce Marilyn Ehrle Nov. 20, 1946 - Aug. 26, 2024

A Celebration of Joyce Marilyn Ehrle’s Life, age 77, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Erin Missionary Baptist Church in the Erin Community of Jasper County, Texas with burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Joyce passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at her home in Jasper, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Joyce retired from the Jasper ISD after serving for many years as the central kitchen manager. She was a member of the Erin Baptist Church in the Erin Community of Jasper, Texas. Joyce loved her church – playing bingo, crocheting, gospel and country music singings – but most of all she loved her family – especially her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Jerry Ehrle of Jasper, Texas; brother, Robert Gerald Singletary of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Pamela Allen of Houston, Texas and Margaret Guin of Jasper, Texas; step-children, Robyn Johnson, Randy Ehrle and Duke Ehrle; grandchildren, Courtney Guin of Jasper, Texas, Thomas Clinton Allen of Houston, Texas and Allison Guin of Orange, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brayden Spiers, Michael Williams, Karson Spiers, Kalli Allen, Kayden Freeman, Kenadi Freeman and Zoey Jackson and sister-in-law, Sandy Ehrle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Kellum; sister, Brenda Jacobs; granddaughter, Lyndsey Allen; mother, Joyce Avonne Singletary and father, Robert H. Singletary.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Erin Baptist Church 4298 FM 1005, Kirbyville, Texas 75956.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
