Jasper woman killed in an accident on Hwy 63 early Saturday morning

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash on state Highway 63, near the 741-mile marker, near Boykin Springs Road, that occurred Saturday, February 17.

The preliminary crash investigation indicts that at approximately 3:10 a.m., a 2019 Ford Edge was traveling north. It is reported that the driver traveled off the road into the south ditch and struck an embankment, causing it to overturn.

The driver, identified as 32-year-old Victoria Williams of Jasper, was pronounced deceased on scene by a Justice of the Peace.
