Jasper Police warn those with warrants to clear them up, or face jail time
Jasper Police Lieutenant Garrett Foster said Wednesday that the department will be conducting a warrant round up over next week.
Foster added, "Those who have warrants need to come take care of them or they could possibly go to jail. An officer from the police department will be calling those with warrants, but will not ask for personal information or collect any form of payment over the phone."
If anyone identifying themselves as an employee of the Police or Sheriff's Department calls and requests money, do not give them any information. Instead, hang up and report the call to the authorities.
