Jasper home that was heavily damaged with fire yesterday rekindled overnight and is now a complete loss

As we reported last night, a home located at Hwy 96 and Cr 303 near Jasper belonging to Brenda Behannon was heavily damaged due to a structure fire. It is currently unknown what caused the blaze, but Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, and Jasper Texas VFD were able to put the fire out.

However, around 1:30 this morning the fire apparently rekindled. This time, Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was called out to assist Jasper Texas Volunteer Fire Department and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Departments.

Unfortunately, this time, the structure was a complete loss.

We will update our readers should more information become available.
