Jasper County SO issues scam warning

Deputy Karli Cherry with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department said Saturday, "Someone impersonating a peace officer from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office is contacting individuals and demanding money. No one from our agency will contact you demanding money. Our officers are not debt collectors. Please report this and do not send money to anyone presenting themselves as the Jasper County Sheriff's Office".
