Jasper County man electrocuted at his home
A Jasper County man has died in an accidental electrocution yesterday.
Jasper County Information Officer Karli Cherry said that some time before 5:00 Monday evening, a Jasper County man climbed under his house located on Farm-to-Market 1004 to make some type of a repair. At some point he touched an exposed wire and was electrocuted.
The man, who was in his early 70's has been identified as Donald Henry. According to Cherry, when officers arrived, Henry was already deceased.
Jasper County Sheriff's Department and DPS were both on the scene.
No autopsy has been ordered.
