Jasper County makes early morning arrest of wanted fugitive

Kirbyville, Tx- On March 1st, at approximately 3:22 a.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a vehicle sitting in the roadway on FM 252 near county road # 297.
Once the deputy arrived, he discovered the vehicle parked in the roadway with no headlamps on. The occupant of the vehicle was identified as 32-year-old Tanner Womack, of Kirbyville.
Womack was soon determined to be intoxicated and he was arrested. It was also discovered he was wanted for two outstanding warrants for Bail Jumping and Failure to Appear, both warrants have no bond.
Womack was brought to the Jasper County Jail.
