Ira Allison Cole, of Buna, TX, passed away on September 6, 2024, and St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, September 9, at Friendship Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Morse Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Adams EE Stringer Funeral in Buna.

He was born July 22, 1945, in Buna, to Roy and Lilla Cole and was retired from the United States Navy. He was a lifelong resident of Buna

Ira was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ray Cole, and Robert Cole

Survivors include his wife Nona Cole, of Buna; daughters Mandy Moss and Vance, Lois Conner and Curtis, of Buna; brother Jerry William Cole, of Buna; sister Abbie Sue Haynes, of Town Bluff; grandchildren Aaron Carr, Ethan Carr, Diana Frye, Victoria Smart, Alyssa Garcia; great grandchildren Hunter Carr, Cooper Trujillo, Emmett Carr, Peyton Carr, Rory Smart, Ryker Smart.
