House on fire was a complete loss
At 11:54 AM Sunday morning East End Volunteer Fire Department was called to a residential home on County Road 275 where reports came in that the house was on fire. Upon arrival crews found a single story home fully involved.
East End called for help from Jasper Texas Volunteer Fire Department, Beech Grove VFD, Jasper TX, Burkeville Fire for man power and tanker support.
Beech Grove Fire Chief James Gunter said, "At 12:28pm Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to assist East End Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper Texas Volunteer Fire Department, and Burkeville Fire Dept. with a residential structure fire on CR 275 East of Jasper. Arriving units found heavy fire showing from the roof of the structure. It took a couple of hours to fully extinguish with Beech Grove units clearing the scene around 2:45pm. We responded with Tanker 12 and 5 firefighters".
Once water was on scene crews worked hard to bring the fire under control. Thanks to Jasper County Sheriff Office, Texas DPS and Allegiance EMS for their help as well.
