Hemphill man arrested in Jasper County for assault and a felony warrant

Late Monday morning at approximately 11:14 a.m., the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence off of County Road # 230 in north Jasper County regarding an assault in progress.
When the deputy arrived he spoke with the complainant who said that the suspect had assaulted her earlier in the morning at a neighbor’s house. The deputy located the suspect and conducted an investigation.
60-year-old Noah Kincel of Hemphill, was arrested and charged him with Assault Causing Bodily Injury-a Class A Misdemeanor. Kincel was also wanted on a Felony Motion To Revoke Probation Aggravated Assault warrant out of Sabine County. Kincel was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard wants the public to know that Kincel is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
