Gaspard arrested again, this time for a Protective Order violation

On February 3rd, at 11:30 pm, the Jasper Police Department received a call regarding an assault in progress. Sgt. Neel responded to the call.
According to the caller, a manager of a motel in Jasper, a female only identified as a 57-year-old white woman was banging on the rear door of the motel. The female told the manager that she had been assaulted and choked.
An officer arrived at the scene, but did not locate anyone meeting the description that was given after interviewing several people.
Sgt Neel left the area and was flagged down by 53-year-old Jimmy Gaspard. Neel said, "Jimmy told me that the female had assaulted him and caused injuries. I observed scratches on his arms, neck, and face. Photos were taken of these injuries and sent to evidence by email. Jimmy stated that he did not wish to pursue any charges."
As it turned out, a protective order was in place stating that Jimmy Gaspard could not be within 200 yards of the female.
Jimmy Gaspard was arrested and charged with Violating a Bond/Protective Order was transported to Jasper County Jail and released into their custody without incident or injury.
Gaspard's bond was set at $4,000 which was paid and he was released yesterday.
