Fredna Purkey October 9, 1942 - September 10, 2024

Fredna Purkey, 81, of Kirbyville died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 13, 2024 at Call Junction Baptist Church with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at the church.  Services are under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

Born October 9, 1942 in New Orleans, LA, she had lived in Kirbyville since 1976.

She is survived by her children, Richie Purkey and wife Michelle of Kirbyville, and Stacy Spence and husband Paul of Lumberton; 5 grandchildren, Heather Moody and Wes; Matt Spence and Meagan; Ashlyn Jordan and Allen; Rich Purkey and Shayla; and Chelse Cloud and Brandon; and 13 great grandchildren.
