Four Jasper Student/Athletes signed National Letters of Intent Wednesday

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Jasper High School had 4 student – athletes participated in National Signing Day. National Signing event takes place annually on the 1st Wednesday of December and the 1st Wednesday of February. Student – athletes sign their National Letters of Intent, locking them in to participate in intercollegiate athletics. National Signing Day has always been my favorite day of the year because I sincerely believe that if a coach can help a child get their education paid for, that it not only changes that child’s life, but his or her family’s lives forever. This is a great honor for not only these student – athletes and their families, but Jasper Independent School District and the Jasper Community. It takes a village to help produce successful students. Our 4 signees were:

Erika Gomez – Hill College – Softball

Mckinsi Durham – New Mexico Highlands – Softball.

Demtris Dean II – University of Houston – Football

Kiotti Armstrong – Texas A& M University – Football
