FIRE ALERT: Fire Crews Battling Active Fire on Suncrest Circle

Emergency crews are currently on the scene of an active structure fire at 1677 Suncrest Circle in Jasper.

At 10:37 p.m., the Jasper Fire Department was dispatched after a neighboring resident reported seeing smoke coming from the home. Firefighters arrived on scene and immediately began working to contain the blaze.

Around 10:51 p.m., Jasper Fire Department requested an additional tanker truck to assist with firefighting efforts.

Shortly after, at 10:53 p.m., the East End Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) was called in to provide mutual aid, including additional manpower and a tanker truck.

The fire is still active, and firefighters are actively working to contain it. Residents are urged to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work safely and efficiently.
