Meet East End Brush 1. Stationed at in the Holly Springs community this is a 2019 Ford F550 with a gas motor. This unit carries 400 gallons of water with the capability of using foam. This truck has two automatic hose reels with a small area where we keep 1 3/4 inch hose for larger incidents. Soon this truck will carry a battery powered chain saw and leaf blower for any incident that might need that equipment. This truck also has two boxes where firefighters can ride on the sides and fight fire while the truck is in motion. This truck carry’s different equipment and has a winch with pulleys and snatch blocks to help remove trees from the roadway. But the thing that catches people’s eye the most is the front torrent. This is used so a firefighter can spray water without leaving the cab of the truck this is handy and has been used many times. This truck was designed by the East End Firefighters for their community.
