A Celebration of Don Ray Ealand’s Life, age 89, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the funeral home.
Don passed away on Sunday, M Obituaryarch 17, 2024 at Rayburn Health and Rehabilitation in Jasper, Texas.
A native of Gladewater, Texas and lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Don was the owner/operator of Don’s Welding and Machine Shop and was a scuba diver and underwater welder. He enjoyed sailing, riding motorcycles and flying airplanes. Don could build anything with his hands.
Donald is survived by his son, Donald David Ealand and his wife Regina of Rayburn, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Jason, Stevie and Johnathan and great-grandchildren, Logan, Nicholas, Baylee, Taylyn, Skylor and Kali.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leo Belle Ealand; wife, Lorie Ealand; son, Frank Douglas Ealand and grandson, Taylor Douglas Ealand.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Houston & SE Texas, 2909 W. Holcombe, Houston, TX 77025.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
