Deweyville womans death being investigated as 'possible foul play'
The Newton County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a Deweyville woman in a possible case of foul play.
At around 5 p.m. last night, Newton County deputies were called out to a home located at 910 County Road 4203 in Deweyville for a welfare check. When Deputies arrived, they discovered the woman dead in her driveway.

Newton County Constable Pct 4 Howie Wonders said that the woman identified as Cierra Westbrook, appears to have suffered some form of blunt trauma. Wonders has also asked the public to call in of they have any information on this death. "If anyone knows anything please contact the Sheriff's Department about it. If this was your loved one, you would want to do anything in your power to find out what happened and to seek justice" Wonders added.
An autopsy has been ordered and as of this evening her cause of death is classified as "unattended death with possible foul play".
