Cougar Country travel trailer suspect arrested and charged with Theft and Burglary of Habitation

BUNA, Tx- On February 26, 2025, Jasper County CID Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Donny Luckey, 42, of Buna. Mr. Luckey is accused of Burglarizing and then stealing a travel trailer in Cougar Country on 2-15-25. Mr. Luckey was arrested and charged with Theft (MA) and Burglary of a Habitation (F2). Mr. Luckey was arrested and brought to the Jasper County Jail

He is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

I want to thank our Patrol Division and our CID Investigators for their hard work on this case. Not only do we believe this man burglarized the residence, he then stole the woman’s travel trailer and she had to sleep in her car until it was recovered. We will work very hard to put these individuals in jail when they burglarize and steal things from the hard working people of Jasper County.
