City of Jasper announces roadwork-asks for patience as work is completed

Shady Lane and East Morris Street Repairs

Contractors are busy finishing the final touches before laying asphalt, starting tomorrow. If everything goes as planned, they should complete Shady Lane Street by Thursday evening. We ask that you avoid this area while contractors perform this work. Limited access will be available for the people who live on Shady Lane to travel to and from their homes.

East Morris Street from Highway 96 to Zavalla Street intersections will be closed. Contractors are replacing the drainage culverts that extend across the street. This project will take several weeks to complete.
