City of Jasper acknowledge two officers

The City of Jasper would like to congratulate Kay Garton on her graduation from Angelina Police Academy last Thursday. Kay is the daughter of Patsy Stephenson, who retired from the Jasper Police Department as a Court Clerk, and Kit Stephenson, who retired from Jasper County as a Constable. Kay will begin her official police duties this week at the Jasper Police Department, where she will be a school resource officer at Few Primary School. We wish Kay the best of luck with her new career.

We would also like to congratulate Officer John Hardin on his promotion to Sergeant. John has 15 years of dedicated service with the City of Jasper Police Department and will be the school resource officer's supervisor.

We appreciate all our officers who do so much to protect the children and citizens of our great town and surrounding areas.
