Carl Vernon Wilson July 15, 1932 - June 16, 2024

Carl Vernon Wilson, 91, of Bleakwood, Texas died Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday June 21, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin 1:00 p.m. prior to service time.

Carl was born July 15, 1932 in Bleakwood to Zelma (West) and Robert Columbus Wilson and was a lifelong resident of Bleakwood. He was a retired supervisor with Texaco Refiner in Port Arthur.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Wilson of Bleakwood; children, Joe Carl Wilson of Bleakwood, Sylvia Whitehead of Kirbyville, and Jimmy Dale Wilson and Mary of Bleakwood; brother, Don Wilson and Lynette of Beaumont; sister, Shirley Mackenroth and Elvis of DeSota, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
