Burby recently attended Family Services of SETEX training

On August 14, 2024, I attended mandatory Board Member training at St. Elizabeth Hospital for the Family Services of Southeast Texas (SETEX).

Their service area is available to families in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Newton, Jasper & Tyler Counties. Newton became a part of their area last year when I joined as a board member.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Family Services of Southeast Texas is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening and empowering families, individuals and communities through accessible behavioral health services, education, and advocacy.
Some of the programs that are provided by the Family Services of SETEX are:
• 24-hour manned hotline-providing emergency intervention
• Shelter Programs
• Non-Residential Program
• Counseling
• Transportation
• Legal Advocacy
• Sexual Assault
• Battering Intervention & Prevention Program
• Speaker’s Bureau
