Bobby Lee Stephens Feb 16, 1943 - Aug 1, 2024

Bobby Lee Stephens, 81, of Buna died Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles.  

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday, August 5, at  the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm prior to services.

Bobby was born Feb. 16, 1943 in Louisiana and had lived in Buna since 2018.  He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a Korean Conflict and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by a sister, Denise Stephens Thumel of California; a brother, Randy Stephens of Louisiana; a son, Keith Stephens; nephews, Robert Nyblom, III; Beau Edmonds; great nephews, Robert Earl Nyblom; Austin James Boganes; aunt, Bernice Stephens Thibodeaux; cousins, Robin and Jackie Pool; Brian Thibodeaux; son-in-law, Don Westmoreland of Buna; daughter-in-law, Wanda Weatherford of Porter; and grandchildren, Nita Walden Caillier of Buna; Brenda Campbell of Lumberton; Kevin Westmoreland of Buna; Melanie Gibbs of Buna; and Justin Westmoreland of Lumberton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; wife, Ruby Pearl Stephens; and daughter, Linda Westmoreland.
