Ben Cochran Jan. 3, 1936 - Aug. 23, 2024

David Benjamin "Ben" Cochran, 88 of Kirbyville passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Avalon Place in Kirbyville.

Memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Call Junction Baptist Church.  Cremation is under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home. 

Born January 3, 1936 to Dan Cochran and Mollie (Terry) in Bleakwood, TX, he worked as a forest technician for the Texas Forest Service.

He is survived by his children, Vinita Turpin and Jody of Tennessee, Todd Cochran and Gay of Kentucky, Dan Cochran and Amy of El Paso;  sister-in-law, Lynese Anderson of Henderson; special friend, Vondal Bailey of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Amber Turpin, Elizabeth Hubbs and Anthony, Joshua Cochran, Christina Cochran, Kevin Cochran; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Dan and Mollie Cochran; wife, Billie Cochran; grandson, Ben Turpin; daughter-in-law, Eva Cochran; brother, Charley Cochran; sisters, Willie King and Doris Wellman.
