Beech Grove VFD welcomes newly certified firefighter

Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department has released a statement regarding their newest certified firefighter.

Tonight we congratulate our very own Kelsey Wilson on passing her Texas Commission on Fire Protection basic firefighter certification test this morning!

Kelsey is a recent graduate of the Jasper County Emergency Services District # 4 inaugural Fire Academy and is our SEVENTH member to achieve the ranks of certified firefighter!

Opportunities in our own backyard, right here in Jasper, Texas!

Opportunities brought to fruition by a collaboration of so many but especially the City of Jasper, Jasper Texas, Jasper County ESD 4, Deep East Texas College & Career Academy, Kilgore College Fire Academy, JEDCO, Jasper County, and JasperISD.

Kelsey is a 2007 graduate of Jasper High School, a 2011 graduate at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and a 2014 graduate from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Blinn College. She is currently employed at Lambeth Physical Therapy in Woodville.

The Beech Grove Community is incredibly proud of our newest certified firefighter!
