Beech Grove VFD Wade and Stott attended training in Round Rock

In a post, Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department Chief James Gunter acknowledged Training Chief Cecil Wade and Captain Todd C. Stott who traveled to Round Rock, Texas where they attended the NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor Course provided by Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX. The completion of this course will be their first step with becoming fire service instructors!

As volunteers, both Chief Wade and Captain Stott took vacation time from their employment to attend this course. As a volunteer organization, we constantly ask our members to volunteer their time....this is time that has become precious in today's fast paced world. It's time away from family and work.

This is what dedication looks like. This is what service above self looks like. Beech Grove VFD is fortunate and proud to have these two men as members. We know the Beech Grove community is equally as proud.
