Beech Grove VFD announce new Certified EMT

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Officers, and all members of Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department we congratulate BGVFD firefighter Jonas Wendt with his successful completion of the recent Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class conducted by Allegiance Mobile Health - East Region and held at Deep East Texas College & Career Academy in Jasper!!!!

But wait, there’s more…..

This morning Jonas took his EMT National Registry exam and passed! Jonas is now a certified EMT!!!!

And earlier this year Jonas successfully completed the Kilgore College Fire Academy held at DETCCA and the Charles E. Gee Memorial Fire Training Facility. As a result, Jonas is also a certified firefighter!

Opportunities exist in Jasper, Texas today that have never before existed, and still do not exist in most similar sized cities/communities in the nation!

These are career path changing opportunities, as exemplified by Jonas, who is now trained, certified, and prepared for a career in public safety!
