Barbara Ann Smith Obituary Sept. 8, 1941 / June 3, 2024

Barbara Ann Smith, 82, of Buna, Texas passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at Spindle Top Nursing Home in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Chapel in Buna with burial at Menard Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 13, 1941 in Call, Texas to Violet Louise (Young) and Cecil Welton Smith, and was a retired Registered Nurse. 

She was also a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

She is survived by her children, Fabie Lacap and Buster Lacap both of Buna; a daughter, Celia Ann McClelland of Jackson, New Jersey; brother, James W. Smith & Yvonne of Sheffield Ferry; sister, Jeanette Smith Jackson of Call; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Smith; and a daughter, Adriane.
