Authorities search Lake Livingston Dam for missing 11-year-old girl who is the subject of an Amber Alert. Search paused for the night.
At the request of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers Division, the FBI’s Dallas Division and the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with an investigation involving a missing child.
The preliminary investigation indicates that on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham was reported missing after it was learned that the child was not at school. Further investigation revealed that the child never got on the school bus that morning and was last seen at approximately 7 a.m. An Amber Alert was issued yesterday, and investigators are actively following leads and have identified persons of interest.
Investigators stopped the search for the night on Friday evening near the Lake Livingston Dam in San Jacinto County.
It's several miles from Audrii's home, but investigators won't say why they're searching the area other than calling it a "location of interest." It's one of several locations they said they searched on Friday.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Audrii Cunningham, please reach out to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
