Law Enforcement Academy informational meeting is this coming Tuesday, August 6th at 6pm at the Jasper County Courthouse Annex, 2nd Floor, 271 E. Lamar in Jasper. Angelina College LE Academy Director Doug Conn will be on hand to explain the process.

Jasper County Sheriff-Elect Chuck Havard, JEDCO Director Eddie Hopkins, and Texas Workforce Commission will also present regarding scholarship opportunities.

City of Jasper, Jasper Texas/Jasper County Emergency Services District # 4 Fire Academy starts on Tuesday, August 6th at 6pm as well. Classes are held at Deep East Texas College & Career Academy, 450 Bulldog Avenue in Jasper.
