Almost all power restored in Jasper with only an estimated 100 customers still without power

Update on power outage provided by the City of Jasper

Jasper, TX - Lee Wellman Director of City of Jasper’s Light and Power has advised crews made good headway on the restoration efforts today, by tonight all City of Jasper customers should be restored except,for a few isolated cases in town, Maple Ln, all of FM 2799 from Highway 63 intersection West towards Bevil Port.

He has estimated around 100 customers will still be without power, but hopefully those can be restored sometime tomorrow.

If you have damage to your service on your house or business, that must be repaired before we can energize it back.
