40-year-old Adam Isaacks of Evadale and previous Little League Coach went before District Judge Craig Mixson, who presides over Jasper, Sabine and St. Augustine Counties for sentencing on Child Sex Abuse charges.
According to Jessica Biscamp, the Jasper County Felony Administrator, Isaacks pleaded guilty to the Jasper County charges. Details from Sabine and San Augustine Counties have not been received just yet. We hope to update our readers with that information tomorrow.
Isaacks was charged with three counts out of Jasper County:
1. Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child under 14 years of age- 40 year sentence to run concurrently with the Federal sentence of 40 years he received back in June of this year.
2. Indecency with a Child with Sexual Contact-20 years to run consecutively.
3. Sexual Assault of a Child-taken into consideration that it was the same victim as the prior charge, no additional time given in this case.
This gives Isaacks a total of 60 years in prison.
The Jasper County District Attorney’s office dropped the third charge, which was sexual assault of a child, due to its shorter sentencing window.
