Accident in North West Jasper County leads to the location of a man reported missing from Galveston County
The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated a non-injury crash on U.S. Highway 190, approximately nine-tenths of a mile east of County Road 190, that occurred Tuesday, April 2.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 8:05 p.m., a 2010 Chevrolet pickup was parked on the westbound shoulder, close to the traffic lane. It is reported that a 2001 Chevrolet pickup, towing a trailer was traveling west and sideswiped the parked unit.
The driver of the 2010 Chevrolet, identified as 74-year-old Terrell Jones of Bacliff, was not injured. It is reported that Jones suffers medical issues and was a confirmed missing person out of Galveston County.
The driver of the 2001 Chevrolet, identified as 36-year-old Aaron Allison of Jasper, was not injured.
