Accident at Hwy 96 and 105 Evadale underpass has some traffic at a standstill
Updated: DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 6:19 p.m., a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer, which was hauling utility equipment for power poles, was traveling south on S.H. 105. It is reported that when the truck tractor made the left turn onto the feeder road, the load securement method that was used failed, causing the load to shift, which in turn caused the trailer to overturn."
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Matthew Faircloth of Woodville, was not injured.
