72 year old Edward Hunt Sr. arrested again by JCSO

Edward Hunt Sr., 72, of Jasper, was arrested for parole violation, endangering a child, and for delivery of a controlled substance.

On February 16, 2025, Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 900 block of Circle Drive in Jasper for a narcotics related call.

Once the deputies arrived and spoke with the complainant, it was discovered that Edward Hunt Sr., 72, of Jasper went to residence and gave a nine year-old juvenile a package of gum.

Once the complainant checked the gum package, an illegal narcotic believed to be cocaine was found inside the package.

Deputies located Hunt a short time later and he was placed under arrest for a Parole Violation, Endangering a Child (SJF) and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (SJF). He was transported to Jasper County Jail.

Mr. Hunt is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
