7 Day Forecast shows more rain on its way

Improving rain chances are forecast through the next few days across SE Texas...


A 30% coverage of showers and thunderstorms is forecast Wednesday otherwise, hot, humid conditions are forecast.


Thursday, the chances for shower and thunderstorm activity further increases to a 50% coverage mainly during the late afternoon hours ahead of a stalling frontal boundary.


Friday and Saturday, we are issuing Weather Impact Alerts due to high chances for shower and thunderstorm activity and the potential for locally heavy rainfall. This is due to a stalled front over the area, copious atmospheric moisture and upper-level disturbances.


A break is possible Sunday with a 40% coverage of scattered showers and thunderstorms.


Monday the 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd, we are again issuing Weather Impact Alerts due to the high chance for shower and thunderstorm activity and potential for locally heavy rainfall.

Through the next 7 days, 2-3 inches are expected with the potential for up to 6 inches possible.
