A weak cold front will stall and wash out before reaching the Triangle Monday. Better rain coverages tonight and Monday will also be north of I-10. No severe weather is expected.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to persist Tuesday through Friday thanks to a series of upper level disturbances, ample atmospheric moisture and an uncapped atmosphere which means that there will be sufficient instability.  Wednesday looks to have the highest chances due to a fairly strong upper-level disturbance.
