7 Day Forecast

12News Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

Dry weather is expected to persist through the next seven days (Friday the 25th) with rising temperatures and slowly rising humidity levels.

The weekend looks great with chilly mornings followed by mostly sunny, pleasantly warm afternoons.

Early next, upper-level high pressure will build over South Texas resulting in a slow warming trend with dry weather persisting.

Late next week, humidity should be noticeably higher with lows returning to the lower 60s and highs well into the middle to upper 80s...an continued dry.

So, will it ever rain again? Long range ensemble modeling points towards the end of the month around the 29th-31st for a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Until then, little to no chance is expected.

Upper level high pressure will build across South Texas early next week which will result in continued dry weather conditions and slowly warming temperatures and humidity.

Moderate wildfire danger is forecast Saturday due to low humidity, elevated winds and dry vegetation as the rainfall deficit continues to increase.
